Peach Cobbler

Filling:

  • 4 cups peeled, sliced peaches
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp flour

Biscuit Dough

  • ¾ cup flour
  • ¼ cup wheat germ
  • ½ tbsp sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup cream
  • 1 pinch salt

Cook peaches with sugar and flour over medium heat while making dough

Cut butter into dry ingredients, add cream. Mix until dough comes free from the sides of the bowl. Knead gently and briefly. Roll out to the size of the baking dish. Pour fruit mixture into baking dish. Cover with biscuit dough

Bake at 425 for 30 to 45 minutes until bubbly around the edges and slightly golden brown on top. Place baking dish under the cobbler to catch any juice that boils over. Let cool 15 to 20 minutes before serving. Serve with cream
